Additional Resources
  • Heartstone
    A range of Primary, Secondary and Special schools across Herefordshire have embraced a new teaching resource which deals with issues of diversity, discrimination and racism. The resource entitled 'The Heartstone Project' is centred around the text 'The Heartstone Odyssey'. The project box has a wealth of supporting resources which can be used alongside the text or as stand alone resources. The project is aimed at pupils in the 9-14 age range and can be adapted as necessary.

    All Herefordshire schools were given the opportunity to take part in the project free of charge. However all of the project boxes have now been allocated. If you would like to find out more about this exciting resource then please contact the Healthy Schools office, where we can put you in touch with schools who have successfully implemented Heartstone.
