Who are we?
The Herefordshire Healthy Schools Partnership is a collaboration between Health and Education in Herefordshire, and our role is to work with schools to enable them to meet the criteria of the National Healthy School Status. More importantly however, our role is to work together with schools to maintain the high standards shown through gaining the status.
The Herefordshire Healthy Schools Team
The Herefordshire Healthy Schools team will help schools assess where they are currently and agree priorities from this discussion in an action plan. As a result of this there may well be implications for curriculum planning and staff development. The Healthy Schools team will be able to assist in the management of this change process, and provide, in consultation with the school, professional development and resources for the staff. Enabling students and other stakeholders to have a voice within this change process can be complex, but there is help available for student council training and ways to involve the wider community.
